After sprinting through Boston to avoid the marathon traffic and crossing quickly through NH, I finally arrived in the NE corner of America. 

A bit heavy on the opinion. I really liked it here, but other states may think otherwise.

This would be a great horror film set. Imagine a full mooned night, a cold wind, and an axe yielding psycho chasing you... AHHHHHH!

I made it to Portland and rushed to this famous lighthouse, but was 10 min late to watch the sun set. I still got to see this beautiful colorshow though!

I hadn't planned on going further than Portland, but knew I wouldn't be seeing the ocean for a lone time so I made an impromptu nature trip to Acadia. It's gorgeous here, glad I went for it.

Even though it wasn't a big mountain, the trail was still covered in snow and carrying a full camera bag made it a good hike.

Out in the middle of nowhere near a little lake, I stumbled upon an awesome little abandoned resort. I bet years ago this was a great getaway vacation spot.

Maine is the end of my line for going North East. It's all a swirly route back towards California from here.
