Good thing I left Oklahoma when I did, for the storm got real nasty right where I was at. Apparently just a few hours after I left some roads fully flooded out, and a tornado touched down a few miles from the parking lot I camped out in. Dodged that bullet!

Driving through Dallas reminded me of Los Angeles, except more pickup trucks are on the road here.

On the outskirts of the city was another Futuro house. Even though this is abandoned, it's in better shape than the one I found in Pennsylvania.

...but look at that! Jacob's Well is a cave with a depth down to 120'. Story is that before the surrounding areas were developed (1920's), the spring gushed water up to 6' in the air.

Everybody was telling me I had to visit Marfa saying how cool it was. Maybe on a holiday, but this place was really lackluster when I came through. The only interesting thing was this "motel" that is a bunch of rad old trail…
